1. Why do my tires need to be rotated?

Tires are a big investment and are designed to last a long time. However, rough driving habits and regularly driving over rough terrain can put a strain on your vehicle. When you neglect tire maintenance services, especially tire rotations, it can cause your tires to wear faster. Tire rotations prevent uneven wear and ultimately prolong the life of your investment.

2. How often should my tires be rotated?

Vehicles with all-wheel drive (AWD) especially need regular tire rotations. The AWD systems must have matching tires to avoid damage to the drive system. Vehicles with front-wheel drive (most common drive in current vehicles) have more tread on the rear than the front.

For these vehicles, we replace the rear tires and then rotate. Our ASE-certified technicians suggest a tire rotation at least every 5,000 – 7,500 miles (or with every-other oil change). You cannot over-rotate your tires!
